I do completely agree with you on how we shouldn't allow all college students to open carry on campus this would just cause a whole new list of problems, however i do think that students who are of age and pass the tests to get your concealed handgun license(CHL) should be allowed to carry on campus. These schools that are "gun free campuses" are the easiest targets for shooters and possible terroist attacks, the average response time for police is 10 minutes thats a very long time for a gun man to do unspeakable things wouldn't you want to know that there are a few armed students on campus that could stop a possible campus massacre.

US Air Force pilots taking speed?

                                                     abcnews.go.com/2020/story?id=123778

The US Air Force is giving are pilots speed to keep them awake and more alert? i understand at war we must do things we wouldn't normally do but giving are soldiers hard drugs that are highly addictive and have horrible side effects that may be where i draw the line. These pills have been used for many years to help with fatigue and in some cases save the lives of pilots who haven't slept in a few days and need to keep there edge while there flying but are there any risks? 2 US fighter pilots are being court marshaled for a friendly fire incident where 4 Canadian's lost there lives and 8 wounded but can we honestly blame these pilots who both had outstanding records or do we blame these Go Pills that will keep these men awake for days at a time. think about it not sleeping for a couple days then taking speed doesn't sound like something you want flying an f-16 with laser guided missiles, one pilot said Go Pills are a necessity when your flying and some men become addicted to them and must always have them on him, is are military forcing are pilots to become amphetamine addicted just so that they can stay awake longer. The real question is do you think that a person who hasn't slept and is on a very strong drug can make the best decision i mean if a cop catches a civilian while driving a car on speed there going to jail but are military is fine with giving it to men who have to drop bombs  and fight in arial combat, i think those soldiers shouldn't be charged its the Air Force who should be to blame.

Special forces and what is going on with ISIS?

file:///Users/abigailclark/Desktop/www.cnn.com:.webloc

Obama finally making a good decision? Obama is sending special forces to help in the attack on ISIS, These forces will be working with the Iraq special forces and the kurdish peshmerga and will be conducting raids on ISIS targets. Finally we make a smart decision and send in small and direct forces to attack an enemy that can't be beaten by sending 100,000's of troops to fight i understand that the US hasn't seen a terrorist group as strong as ISIS but when an enemy doesn't have a designated location we can't fight them as if we were fighting a country the only way to defeat a group like ISIS in my opinion atleast is to fight them how there trying to fight us. We need small groups of specially trained soldiers to track down and attack these terrorist locations we need to be as stealthy as possible since these groups have no centralized base and can move at any given time there really is no point of sending an army to Iraq, this would just put more lives in danger since we obviously know there not afraid to be cowards and blow themselves up in the name of Allah. I honestly think ISIS has been around for quite sometime and has just been waiting for a president who is to scared to attack and is wanting to let Syrian refugees into America?! did he not see what happened in paris all it takes is a few bad seeds out of thousands of people to blow up or attack a major city did Obama not get the threats that ISIS made on every major city including Washington DC ? hmmm okay Obama let these refugees in and maybe one of these refugees will try and blow up the White house the place where your family lives. I know i got off topic but all of this is relevant in todays world the people need to understand that we need to put in power a person who is willing to attack and defend are people from  foreign and domestic attacks without the worry of stepping on a few toes.

  • In  Brandon's blog  Brandon's Government 2305 Blog he wrote a good article called

The Los Angeles Times gets it where he discusses mental illness in school shootings and how easily available guns are in the US. I did agree with Brandon when on how guns are far to easily to get in america but i couldn't agree with him on how he thinks not all school shooters are mentally ill, my opinion is  any person who is willing to go shoot a large number of people and in many cases children there is no way that person can be completely sane. For someone to even come up with this evil of a plan is completely insane.

                                             10,000 soldiers staying in Afghanistan?!

This is getting ridiculous its the year 2015 and the war started in 2001 and Obama still want to keep 10,000 troops in Afghanistan till the end of 2016!, why you ask? He believes that if we don't keep US  troops in Afghanistan that the Taliban will take over once again. I completely disagree with this but CNN Peter Bergen finds it to be the perfect answer he says "the decision announced Thursday to keep some 10,000 troops there until the end of 2016 is exactly the right one. The Obama administration then plans to drop that number to 5,500 by early 2017 as it leaves office." I don't understand how keeping these troops overseas is even a question, haven't we trained and supported there military with are money do we really need to sacrifice more american lives. i understand that there leaders want us to keep a sizable amount of troops in there country and why wouldn't they its not there money or there men that are dying there basically getting a protector(US) from the bully(taliban) on the play playground. The question i ask is what is going to happen once the US finally pulls out or can't afford to spend billions of dollars to keep them safe, to me its almost pointless to keep spending are resources that we don't have that is obvious by are trillions in debt on a country that should be supporting itself after over a decade of holding it's hand.

                             GUN FREE ZONES IN SCHOOLS?

I 100% agree with William A. Jacobson when it comes to this issue of having no armed officers on college campuses. The reality is there is if you think that having a gun free campus is somehow going to keep your students safe then you are sadly mistaken because if a person is looking to kill numerous amounts of people he most likely will go to a school that he knows is a "gun free zone" which is basically a huge sign that says hey if you have a gun theres nothing we can do until police arrive which the average 911 response time is between 9-12 minutes so if the intruder has an AR-15 which fires 800rds per minutes were looking at between 7200 to 9600 rounds fired before police arrive. I understand you can't carry around 10000 rounds but you get my point. The interesting point is why don't we want security guards to carry firearms on school grounds? people say they find the sight of guns to make them feel uneasy, how does seeing a trained man or women who is carrying a gun for your protection make you feel uneasy? in my opinion i would much rather see a cop or security guard with a gun than a person with ill will towards anyone who comes in there line of fire, just yesterday morning an armed gunman went on a shooting rampage at a "gun free zone" in oregon at the local community college, are we starting to see a pattern of where armed gunman go? hmmm...let me guess gun free schools! people like to emphasize that if they don't use or own guns that every criminal who owns a gun will just let them be. Today people like to use the phrase "guns kill people" but in reality people kill people do you think that during the roman empire people didn't get murdered or hurt because there was no guns? no they used these things called swords and spear and the occasional bow but my point is that you can't expect to get rid of crime in america by taking away guns because no matter what humans will always find ways to fight and kill each other its been going on for millions of years and banning guns isn't going to change a thing.

                                                JAPAN WILL FIGHT OVERSEAS?

Japan after seven decades decides its been long enough and is time to allow there military to not only defend them but also join in overseas combat. Which is understandable since china and north Korea are rapidly getting stronger and have the ability to use nuclear weapons, but the question is why did it take them seventy years to finally make the decision not to sit around and watch the world go threw countless more wars was it the disrespect they got from china or the willingness to use nuclear weapons by north Korea? this article discusses who is behind them in this decision and who doesn't find it to be the best way to go. What do you think the people of japan think about this? are they scarred that maybe there not ready for such a drastic change so soon? you be the judge after reading this article.
